Check out that football game on his upper lip. Eleven on each side....
Hey isn't that Rasheed Wallace?
Golly, a felon in possession of a firearm; something he can't possess by law! I guess we need more laws, huh?

@TheUglyTruth @jpk cheaper at the hawk shop or better yet from a burglary
I doubt he bought it at a store. Those clerks are usually highly responsible, conscientious and efficient. But then, street-corner and person to person sales are not required to have background checks, yet! The more important charge was the murder of another person. Any conviction on the felon in possession charge will probably be not prosecuted to obtain sentencing consideration, or be added on as a consecutive sentence. Either way, I doubt the media will cover the end result, as they tend to move on with these stories! Â
A felon with a gun. Didn't he know that it is illegal for him to have a gun?
Oh well. One down, thousands to go.
Now politicians will come and restrict my gun rights for this guys actions. Next thing you know they will take my vehicle because some drunk driver killed someone in Boston.

@TheUglyTruth @Dr. Rawdog @RalphCramden @sargerator Seems to me all of you pro-gunners are saying current gun laws don't work.  Then why are you so afraid of changing them?  The saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" doesn't work here, because it IS broke.
@TheUglyTruth @Dr. Rawdog @RalphCramden "We have effective gun laws already, which are not being enforced", and what ones are they not "enforcing" ?? Truely curious !
Dr R, its not a question of having effective gun laws, it's more a question of enforcing the ones that are on the books!
@NotAChance @Kymberlie2873 @STEELHEAD And "well regulated" !
@JohnQ.Public @jpk "There are those in government that want them banned entirely", I have not read anything about "total gun ban", could you cite something ?
@NotAChance @Kymberlie2873 @STEELHEAD That is why gun ownership should be looked at as a privilege and not just a right. Look at the damage they do compared to cars. Maybe if it were seen as a privilege there wouldn't be so many deaths by gun. I know my family all view it as a privilege and not just their right and they treat it as such. None of them have accidently or purposely shot anyone nor left their gun lying around nor dropped one in a movie theater with the safety off. Just saying.Â
@Kymberlie2873 @STEELHEAD Driving is a privilege. Gun ownership is a right enshrined in the constitution.
@Dr. Rawdog @JohnQ.Public @jpk Fringe? Like Feinstein?Â
âIf I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States, for an outright ban, picking up [every gun]⦠Mr. and Mrs. America, turn âem all in.â
@STEELHEADÂ Cars aren't manufactured to be used as weapons. Guns are. Also, the majority of deaths by car are deemed accidental not murder. Guns are the most used weapons in cases of murder. The car vs gun debate is an overused one, not accurate, and not relevant. 60% of all homicides in the country are committed by guns...not cars.
So as far as drunk driving goes, we should come take your car and that will end the meaningless deaths ?
@jpk Gun control isn't so much about keeping guns from the hands of criminals, it's about control. There are those in government that want them banned entirely with the exception of military and law enforcement.
The proposals to limit magazine size and assault "style" weapons is just the tip of the iceberg.
Probably only because the media pick and choose the stories they like which fit the agenda they have or promote. Note there was no mention at all about the individual in California that stole a (Joe Biden approved) shotgun and then went on a shooting spree, killing several and finally killing himself yesterday. I guess a story about a slam-dunking otter is more important

@TheUglyTruth I blame global warming.
@HenryBowman I figured you would blame the gays.
