Man shot in leg in Northeast Portland; police search for suspect

PORTLAND, Ore. – A 30-year-old man was shot in the leg after he said he got into an argument with a passing driver in Northeast Portland on Tuesday night.

It happened in the 700 block of Northeast 91st Avenue just after 9:30 p.m.

The victim told officers he was walking along the street when he got into an argument with a passing driver. He told police the driver stopped, got out of the car and shot him in the leg.

The victim’s injury is not life-threatening.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white or silver Acura Integra.

Police say no crime scene has been found and they are working to verify the victim’s story.
