More salmonella cases linked to Wash. restaurant

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - Health officials say the number of confirmed and probable salmonella cases linked to a Vancouver, Wash., restaurant is more than 70.
Clark County Health Officer Dr. Alan Melnick said Friday that 21 cases have been confirmed and another 55 are considered probable.
The Columbian reports that most cases involve adult customers who visited the On the Border restaurant between Sept. 20 and Oct. 8. He says five restaurant food handlers and at least one child also tested positive for salmonella.
Health officials closed the restaurant Tuesday. They're still trying to determine the source of the bacteria. Symptoms include fever, chills, diarrhea and abdominal discomfort and typically arrive within three days of exposure.
Officials say the restaurant won't reopen until they're confident there's no risk to the public.
Since the afflicted seem to be almost all adults [with exception to one child], I'm thinking that they should be looking at the Margaritas. Maybe the lime?
Montezuma's revenge!
South of the Border is right !
I guess that is the advantage of being poor... We haven't been out to eat at a restaurant in over three months so I know we are safe!
 @dandalion If you went to this restaurant, got sick, and sued...you wouldn't be poor anymore....
Katu, you reported exactly the same news last tuesday. It sounds like your team is not doing a good job, you should re-phrase it. Get a new team.
I was going to go there for dinner-NOT
Even a nasty Mexican food roach coach doesn't make that many people sick.
 @swimbad I'd think twice though if they start serving Tuna Briquette Tacos...;-)
 @str1ngb3nd3r Yeah!!
OR, as flagged and removed by "peregrine", Mexican tuna tacos! ha ha!
I'm getting flu like symptoms just thinking about it!
