@Crankykitty Nancy You can find the recycled dog collars and leashes at many local retailers around Portland.  You can find the full list of dealers at www.cycledog.com
@bacana Very true but this is also a reminder that you don't need to get all of your gifts from big box stores who contract out manufacturing to places where they lock people inside to get work done but don't allow fire exits in an emergency, breaks, meal times, etc.

As a matter of fact, Crafty Wonderland is coming up December 8th and 9th and I plan on going.
Â
FWIW, I'm tired of visiting places throughout the country where everything is starting to look and feel the same. Â When I go to Miami or Pittsburgh or Phoenix, it'd be nice to have the stores reflect the region I'm in. Â I can shop at Macy's or Nordstroms, or Hallmark, etc. here and save on shipping prices. Â I'd love to see small stores inside the malls or in regional tourist destination shops that support and sell the products made locally.
I am very interested in the recycled dog collars and six pack bicycle holder. How can I get in contact with these people so I can purchase the items?

What a fabulous piece! Kudos to the KATU team for their nice work (says a longtime & enthusiastic ExLibris Journals customer).
Wow, full of ourselves much? There are plenty of places in the country where people create and sell unique items.Â
