No matter which way you read it, newborn has great timing

PORTLAND, Ore. – A Lake Oswego woman gave birth Wednesday.
While that statement is not unusual, the coincidence of the day and time when the baby was born is.
Look at today's date and consider: Matthew Lee Alexander-Duhl was born on 12-12-12 at 12:12 p.m. at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center's Family Birth Center in Tualatin, according to hospital officials who added that mom Jennifer Miller-Duhl was admitted to Room 12.
Hospital officials say mom was "really surprised" about the coincidence.
"As the doctors and nurses were wheeling me down the hall for a C-section, they said, 'Uh oh, we could have something fun here' followed by, 'we better hurry,'" Miller-Duhl said.
The hospital reported that Miller-Duhl wasn't thinking about the possibility of giving birth at exactly 12:12 p.m. Miller-Duhl said "I just wanted him to be born."
Matthew weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces at birth and the hospital said both mom and baby are doing well.
"Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket with the No. 12 in it," Miller-Duhl remarked.
Well this was not a coincidence - it was a planned c-section - makes the story a non-story.
Congrats to the new parents and baby just the same
Lucky number 12! Congrats, Mama! Little Matthew is a treasure.
Isn't it the 12th day of Christmas?
@RalphCramden Yes, but that little guy does not look like a partridge in a pear tree! Congrats to the family.
Good thing for mom he didn't weigh 12 lbs 12 oz! Welcome to the world, Matthew!
VERY cool birth story! What are the odds?? I would have bought a lottery ticket too.
Congratulations! Â May you and all of yours experience the joy of life, may your newborn child revel in wonder and marvel at the miraculous and magical odd corners, nooks and crannies.
Congrats! Fun date to remember for rest of their life with stories!
Congrats!
