Police in Seattle have arrested a man accused of assaulting a woman on Portland State University's campus earlier this month.
Timothy Webster was arrested Friday on unrelated charges of burglary, trespassing and harassment, police said.
It is unclear when he will be extradited to Multnomah County.
The incident at Portland State University occurred March 6 near the Lovejoy Fountain by the engineering building on Fourth Street.
According to campus police, the victim, who is a student, was walking home when a man she described as homeless came up to her, asking for a dollar. While she was looking for her money, that's when police said he inappopriately touched her.
Police later identified the suspect as Webster and issued a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of third-degree sex abuse.
