Paper: Woman in murder-for-hire case caught stalking victim

LONGVIEW, Wash. - A Kelso woman is accused in a murder-for-hire plot and police said it’s not the first time she’s been involved in such a case, according to a Longview newspaper.

The Longview Daily News reports Amanda Marie Kirwan, 25, was caught by police last Friday stalking a potential victim with a loaded handgun.
Police had been investigating Kirwan in another criminal solicitation case when detectives learned she planned to kill someone else.

No one was killed in either case.
The newspaper said dispatchers warned police that Kirwan had recently been seen with a gun and she had pointed the weapon at another person and pulled the trigger.

It was not clear if any shots were fired in that incident.
