PORTLAND, Ore. – Police arrested a 23-year-old man who they said sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend’s mother.
Michael Leroy Landon on Friday broke into the 57-year-old woman’s house and assaulted her, both physically and sexually, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson.
The woman told officers that Landon is her daughter’s ex-boyfriend. Police arrested Landon at his home, Simpson said.
Medics took the woman to a hospital.
Landon was taken to the Multnomah County Jail. He faces charges including kidnapping, burglary, unlawful sexual penetration, sex abuse, attempted rape, strangulation and assault.
Investigators do not believe there are any other victims or suspects, Simpson said.
