Police: Man knocks out pregnant woman for attacking him
SEATTLE -- A man punched a pregnant woman in the face and knocked her unconscious Tuesday evening in downtown Seattle after the woman attacked him with metal sticks and called him a snitch, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Officers arrived at the corner of Pine Street and Fourth Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m. to find a woman unconscious on the ground. A group of five witnesses were able to fill in what happened.
The witnesses told officers the victim had been in an argument with a man and a woman.
The victim ran after the man and woman as they were leaving, hitting both of them with metal sticks and repeatedly yelling "snitch" at the man, according to the witnesses.
Witnesses said the man eventually turned around and punched the victim in the face. She fell backward, hitting her head on a metal newspaper stand, and was knocked unconscious.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where nurses informed officers she was five to seven weeks pregnant.
According to the police report for the incident, the victim had two metal sticks on her but told officers she didn't know anything about getting into a fight with a man and woman.
She told officers she was just standing around when someone hit her in the back of the head; the next thing she knows, she's in the hospital, according to the report.
Nurses said there were no signs of a miscarriage, but the victim suffered a concussion and a 2-inch cut to the back of her head.
SO were they pipes? ...or pipe cleaners?

She is not a victim. She is the attacker. The man and woman are the victims of her attack. Her trip to the hospital is a result of her attack.
Wait a minute. I am confused. SHE attacked some one. THEY struck her in self defense. And they are calling HER the victim?? I do not agree with hitting women. But if I am some where with my wife and or kids and I am attacked by some one. Man or woman. With or without a weapon on them and I feel that the safety of my wife or kids are in danger , I too would hit a woman. I just do not see how SHE is the victim when she was the one attacking.

Just being pregnant doesn't make her the victim. It probably wasn't even obvioius.  This editor needs to get a reality check.  The woman attacked the man.  He was the victim.  Because she is pregnant doesn't make her a victim. She is the perpentrator.  We all need to feel sorry for her unborn child.  That child is  definitely the victim.
And how exactly are people supposed to know that shes pregnant at 5-7 weeks anyways? Â Besides she is an idiot for hitting people with metal sticks!

I think someone needs to learn how to distinguish between a victim and a perpetrator. Being pregnant and getting decked doesn't make you a victim if you've been chasing people around in public hitting them with metal sticks.Â

The "victim"? Are you efing kidding me? The only victim I see in this story are the man, the woman and the unborn child who will have *that* psychotic B as a mother. (Till the state takes it away and sticks it in foster care.)

 @portlandborn83 ~  Well, a lot would depend on how far along they are in the pregnancy, as well as how they fell and if they sustained any injuries to the abdominal area... If she knew she was pregnant, and she ran after someone, beating them with "metal sticks" and yelling at them, that strikes me as kind of a stupid behavioral choice...Â

 @portlandborn83 When the Female body is subjected to extreme distress, a miscarriage can occur. It is the bodies natural defense in saving its self..This is why when a DWI hits a person and causes a miscarriage they should be charged with Murder.
This just released: the names of the couple attacked by the pregnant woman are Mr. Pickles and Ms. Ice Cream. Still not sure of her interest in them in particular, though.
Good luck to the man on this one. At least he can claim self-defense.Â

"Metal sticks" what like a pipe?

So she attacks two people with a couple of pipes and to defend himself and another. The victim (the real victim) gives her a blow to knock her back, she being flat footed and clumsy, then strips and falls hitting her head and knocking HERSELF unconscious.

And yelling snitch at someone is an early sign that that person is a criminal, lives a criminal lifestyle and likely is guilty of outstanding crimes they have yet to be put in jail for.

Oh and 5-7 weeks pregnant does not show. As far as the victim (the REAL victim) is concerned some crazy b1tc4 came at him and his friend with a couple of pipes to try and kill him.
