Police: Missing man found safe with family in Colorado

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Police and staff at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing 20-year-old man they said may currently resemble the late rock star Jim Morrison, lead singer for the Doors.

Police said OHSU officials told them Wade Victor Koch, 20, was at the Portland hospital Monday afternoon for an unspecified treatment when he was last seen.

Koch is considered to be a "vulnerable individual who requires medical attention and could present a danger to himself," police said in a press release.

Police also said Koch is not considered violent or a threat to others.

Koch was last seen wearing an olive-colored short-sleeved shirt, jeans and no shoes. He has curly, shoulder-length dark-brown hair and is approximately 6 feet tall and about 150 pounds.

"Currently, there is no photo of Mr. Koch available but he is described as resembling the late Jim Morrison, lead singer for The Doors," police said in an email.

A picture sent out by police is of Koch in a 2008 DMV photo.
