Police: Nearly a dozen rounds fired at McMinnville home

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- Police are investigating who fired nearly a dozen rounds at a McMinnville house early Monday morning.

Seven people were inside the house during the shooting, but no one was injured, according to a news release from the McMinnville Police Department.

The shootings happened just after midnight. Someone fired more than 10 rounds into the home in the 1600 block of Southwest Shirley Ann Drive. Multiple bullet entries were discovered in the west side of the home and in the front door, police said.

Police said two kids and an adult were asleep in one of the rooms hit by the gunfire.
