Police: Victim driven away from scene after SW Portland stabbing
PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are searching for a suspect after a stabbing in Southwest Portland on Friday.
The victim was identified as 41-year-old Benjamin Knepper. Police said Knepper was stabbed in an apartment in the 1900 block of Southwest Hume Court.
Knepper was driven from the scene and dropped off in the 3800 block of Southwest Multnomah Boulevard, according to police. Detectives are working to figure out why he was driven away from the crime scene.
It's unclear who was driving.
Police said officers responded to a report of two men bleeding in a parking lot on Multnomah Boulevard at around 3:45 p.m. Friday. Police found Knepper when they arrived. A second victim has not been found.
The suspect was described as a short white man in his 20s.
Knepper is in the hospital recovering from several stab wounds.
Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call Detective Paul Dolbey at 503-823-0451.

Is Benjamin Knepper unresponsive? Seems like he should be able to answer most of these questions.
That's a bad part of northea-- . . . . I mean, uhm, nor-- . . . . Wait a minute! Stuff like this only happens in . . . .
Oh. Multnomah Village. Oh! Yeah, that area. The one Southwesters and West Hills folk don't want to talk about.
Stuff like this happens everywhere, but why do you have to be such a snot about it?
