HILLSBORO, Ore. – Police have arrested a 54-year-old Liberty High School teacher after they say he sexually abused a student.

Police arrested Gregg Martin Jensen at his Hillsboro home at 9 a.m. Friday, said Hillsboro police spokesman Lt. Michael Rouches.

Rouches said detectives conducted a week-long investigation and concluded Jensen sexually abused a 17-year-old girl at the school.

The abuse happened between February and April, Rouches said. Detectives are still investigating where the alleged abuse occurred.

Jensen was taken to the Washington County Jail and is facing second-degree sexual abuse, luring a minor and second-degree child sex abuse charges.

According to Liberty High School's website, Jensen teaches economics, government and history.

Right now Rouches said detectives don’t know of any other victims, but police do want anyone who knows of anyone who may have been victimized by Jensen to call Detective Cheryl Banks at 503 681-6175.
