Police find $45K in drugs, arrest two during raid at N. Portland home

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police arrested two men after they found heroin, cocaine and marijuana during a raid at a North Portland home early Wednesday morning.

Sgt. Pete Simpson said the police bureau’s Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) served a search warrant at a home in the 8400 block of N. Fessenden Street in connection with a drug investigation by the Gang Enforcement Team.

Officers found approximately 128 grams of heroin, 188 grams of crack cocaine, 123 grams of powder cocaine and 228 grams of marijuana inside a safe at the home, Simpson said. The estimated street value of all the drugs is around $45,000.

Police also seized more than $25,000 in cash.

Officers arrested Hansen Lamar Richardson, 52, and Addison Blackmon III, 43.

Richardson was charged with failing to register as a sex offender and seven counts of drug trafficking.

Blackmon faces seven drug trafficking charges.

Both men were taken to the Multnomah County Jail.
