PORTLAND, Ore. – Police closed a Northwest Portland road after a rock slide between two tunnels Friday morning.

It was reopened at about 1 p.m., according to the Portland Bureau of Transportation.

Police closed N.W. Cornell Road between Westover Road and Thompson Road. The slide was reported around 4:30 a.m.

Police said no one was hurt and no homes are threatened by the slide.
