PORTLAND, Ore. – Police detained two people after a rollover crash in Northeast Portland Thursday morning.
Officers learned the car that crashed was reported stolen.
The crash happened on Marine Drive at 33rd Avenue. Police said a Saturn was heading east on Marine Drive in the westbound lanes and two other vehicles, an SUV and a large box truck, swerved to avoid a crash. Both vehicles sideswiped the Saturn, which then crashed through a guardrail and rolled down an embankment.
The two people in the Saturn, a man and a woman, were not seriously hurt, according to police.
It’s unclear if any of the other drivers were hurt.
No other details were immediately released.
