Police investigate bar fight, stabbing in Milwaukie

MILWAUKIE, Ore. – Police are investigating a bar fight in Milwaukie that left one man stabbed and another unconscious.

Officers responded to a disturbance call early Saturday morning at the Wichita Pub, located at 6106 Southeast King Road.

When they arrived, police said they found 44-year-old Michael Ray Gaston with multiple stab wounds to his chest. Medics took him to OHSU where he had surgery for his injuries. His condition is unclear.

Police said they also found 46-year-old Timothy G. Reed unconscious with a head injury. He was also taken to OHSU.

According to police, the two men were regulars at the Wichita Pub. It’s unclear what led to the fight.

Police took Shaun Edward Hartley into custody on an outstanding warrant.
