Police look for suspect in Old Town stabbing

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police are searching for the man who stabbed another man in Old Town on Tuesday night.

Officers were called out to Northwest 4th Avenue and Burnside Street and found a 33-year-old man with stab wounds. The victim told police he was walking on Burnside when he saw a younger girl in an alcove with a group of homeless people and asked her why she was outside. 

Some of the homeless men stood up and confronted the victim. He told officers that one of those men stabbed him. The victim described the stabber as a white man in his 20s with a skinny build. He wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a flat-brimmed baseball cap and dark pants.
