Police looking for suspect after bank robbery in SW Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Southwest Portland on Tuesday afternoon.

The man stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Bank of the West at 6521 Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway just before 3:30 p.m.

Police said the man gave a teller a note demanding money, then headed north out of the parking lot.

The suspect is a white man between 55 and 60 years old who stands about 5-foot-7 with a medium build. He has dark hair and a mustache, and was wearing glasses, a dark hat and a gray hoodie.
