PORTLAND, Ore. - Police arrested a man who they believe was part of a 1995 murder in Southeast Portland.
Officers took Danny Conner into custody on Tuesday. He's accused of the murder of Darrin Ezell in his apartment on Southeast Ramona nearly two decades ago.
Back in December of 1995, officers told KATU that two men told Ezell's girlfriend to get inside a car and drive around. While she did that, detectives believe one of them walked into the apartment and shot Ezell while two children were inside. Neither child was hurt.
Police detectives would not say whether they believe Conner was the one who shot Ezell or release any more information about the case. He will be arraigned on Wednesday morning.
