Police release video of SE Portland multiplex robbery

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Police have released security video footage of a robbery at a Southeast Portland multiplex and are asking the public for tips in identifying the suspect.
The man robbed the Century 16 multiplex during broad daylight last Wednesday.
Police said the man, described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, walked into the Century 16 theaters on SE 82nd Avenue at 12:30 p.m. and demanded money after showing he had a handgun in his waistband.
The suspect left the theater on foot after taking cash and a search of the area by police with canine units did not turn up a suspect.
In the video, the suspect can be seen looking at what appears to be his wallet as he talks with an employee. He then lifts his jacket near his waist to reveal a gun in his waistband. The clerk then puts cash from the till in his backpack and he walks away.
Police said the suspect is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build, gray hair and was unshaven. They said he was wearing a dark green hoodie, blue jeans and a beanie-style cap. In the video, the suspect appears to be wearing a Nike zip-up hoodie-style jacket.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Robbery Detail at 503- 823-0405.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you can remain anonymous.
A white guy in a Nike hoodie walks into a movie theatre...
Wearing a hoodie. Time to ban them.
Is it the economy or what that is bringing all the creeps out of the woodwork (just like termites).
I wonder what the guy would think if the clerk pulled a gun and shot him?
@RalphCramden He'd probably sue.
@JTesla  Unless the clerk was a good shot.
