Police say man extracting hash oil in car started fire that burned five vehicles

TIGARD, Ore. – Police said a man who was making hash oil in his car caused a fire that burned five vehicles in Tigard on Tuesday.

The fire in a parking lot at SW Pacific Hwy. and SW 74th Ave. destroyed two cares and damaged three more.

Police said the man told them he was making butane hash oil when the fire started.

He was sent to the hospital with burns, but police haven’t said how severe his injuries are.
