VANCOUVER, Wash. - Vancouver Police said they are looking for a suspect who showed a clerk a gun and made off with cash from a tanning salon in Vancouver Tuesday night.

Police said the robbery suspect displayed a gun to the clerk working at the Palm Beach Tan salon on SE Mill Plain Drive just after 8 p.m. The clerk was not hurt.

Officers searched for the suspect with police dogs but no one was located, investigators said. Security cameras in the salon captured images of the suspect, however.

Police described the suspect as a white male in his 30s or 40s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, unshaven with a goatee, wearing a ball cap, a hooded black-over-gray jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department.
