PORTLAND, Ore. – Police say two men with guns approached a car in the parking lot of the Gateway Fred Meyer and carjacked it Wednesday night.
According to police, the victims say the men robbed the driver, pulled the female passenger out of the car and took off in the vehicle.
Police are looking for the stolen black 2012 Honda Civic with Oregon license plate CU27516. It was last seen driving south on 99th.
One suspect is a white man in his late 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds. He has short black hair, some facial hair and was wearing dark clothes.
The other suspect is a light-skinned black male in his late 20s, also 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds.
No one was injured.
Gun crime just keeps on until we make it harder for anybody to use guns for violent crime
Thank goodness the victims were not injured or killed. This could've turned out so much worse. I hope law enforcement is able to catch these cowards. Hopefully someone saw something or knows something that can assist.
This too-brief story omits the fact that this crime happened at 9:15PM yesterday on NE 102nd.

That's not an unusual time for ordinary people to be grocery shopping.
@alohan Thanks for the link. According to the article,and the related picture, the police cars are in the back of the store,facing 99th, where the yard and garden dept is.That would also put this crime directly accross the street from the Gateway MAX/Transit center.Hopefully the police are looking at Tri-Met video from around that time frame.
@alohan Seems normal enough.

@Dr. Rawdog Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself.
@Dr. Rawdog I hope this kind of crime never happens to you. Sheep are so easily slaughtered. People don't carry out of fear...they carry because their survival instinct is stronger.
@Dr. Rawdog  And I suppose living on your knees is smarter? Refuse to be a victim! Criminals prefer unarmed victims for a reason.
@Dr. Rawdog @NotAChance @Spook89 Yawn. Loser.
@SKVmutantÂ
I'm a CHL and I'd gladly surrender my nice, new car if I thought it meant that no shots would be fired.
OTOH, my mindreading skillz aren't what they should be, and I'm never quite sure about the bad guys' intent when they STICK GUNS IN MY FACE.
OOOOOH! NICE ONE!
@Dr. Rawdog That's your choice. A free society allows a person's right to self defense. I'd be willing to bet that those two punks are not practiced in the martial art of marksmanship. Most of us who carry, on the other hand, are.
@Dr. Rawdog @Spook89 Yep, pretty much sums you up.
I dont think this is what MLK dreamed about.
Don't you see there was black and white united?Â
These two are playing a dangerous game. One that they will eventually lose.
Huh, for a minute there I thought the 11-year-old and his 7-year-old friend were back at it..
They will be back pretty soon.Â
