Police seek public's help finding 12-year-old girl

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 12-year-old girl who they say could be in danger.

Ivy Marie Tran was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 29, when she ran away from her foster home in Southeast Portland. Tran is a ward of the state and police believe she may be hiding with family or friends, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson.

Tran has brown hair with blonde highlights. She was last seen wearing a leopard-print tank top, multicolored argyle leggings and leopard-print boots.

Anyone who sees Tran is asked to call 9-1-1. Anyone who has information about Tran is asked to call Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081.
