Portland police officer cleared in fatal shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. - A grand jury ruled Friday that a fatal police shooting from a couple of weeks ago was justified.
Billy Wayne Simms was shot right before he crashed into a building Saturday, July 28. He died on the scene.
Officers were chasing him after he reportedly opened fire on a car with a family of five in it.
Simms was also wanted for robbing a medical marijuana grow in Southeast Portland.
The police officer who shot Simms, Justin Clary, is a 10-year veteran of the force.
It appears it was a justified shooting. Too bad some of these types are not taken off the streets sooner.
Glad no innocent family was injured.
RIP Billy; we all know the horrible TORTURE the government put you through; frying your brain out with EXTREMELY TOXIC MEDS when your were a kid...

RIP!

Cya!
Billy Simms was a dirt bag portland is safer with him gone! So glad to see the justice system worked this time....I am glad this officer gets to get back to work..... this photo has been floating around facebook of billy sims please share on your wall if you agree too!!! http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/386937_482719401739668_1982078137_n.jpg
This sure sounds like good news to me. So far as I've been able to tell, this piece of garbage should have been snuffed out long before Officer Clary put a draft in his dome.

Good job, PPB!
Remember folks the Grand Jury in Oregon is nothing more than a tool for the District Attorney. It is an easy way to sweep things under the rug......no recordation of hearings, no conflicting details just what the ADA presents.
Thank goodness he was white. No one wants to go through all that again.
Great now let the man get back to work, Glad to see that the system worked in this case. 1 good cop still on the job, and 1 less criminal scumbag on the streets.
It was justified
Just can't wait to hear from his friends about what a wonderful, caring person he was.
@Heckofadeal We've heard more than enough from his fellow crackheads.
I hope they and this vermin enjoy a place far below, and plenty hot.
@Heckofadeal Or they went to church with him.
@noneofyourbizzness ......yeah that too
@Heckofadeal ....it is amazing how that is expressed. But I guess, what the hel else are they going to say..........we're glad the SOB is gone too!
@Heckofadeal We had our fill of it when the original article came out. This loser was a career criminal with a long record, a drain on society and got what he earned as far as I'm concerned.
This was a good shooting. The bad guy had already shot at several people and hit a vehicle with a family in it. Glad he was taken out.
@RalphCramden Too bad they couldn't have gotten too him sooner so he wouldn't have been able to shoot so many times at that car! I am glad this bad guy wont be a repeat offender anymore.
@Cherylanne I am also glad that he won't be a repeat offender.

I wonder what he was thinking as all those bullets were ripping through his body? "Where's the reset button? I want to play this level all over again!"
