SALEM, Ore. – Salem police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing autistic girl.

Police say Marissa Ridenour, 15, is unable to safely care for herself. She wandered away from her home in the 3100 block of Marcia Drive N.E. and has not been seen since 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Marissa is described as 5-foot-3 and 160 pounds. She has short, dark blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a pink and brown leopard print baseball cap, pink sunglasses, a pink hoodie, blue jean shorts and black and pink tennis shoes. She was wearing a white zebra print backpack.

Salem police activated “A Child is Missing”, an organization that simultaneously calls phone numbers in Marissa’s neighborhood.

Anyone who sees Marissa is asked to call 911 immediately.
