PORTLAND, Ore. – A semi trucked crashed in the middle of the Glenn Jackson Bridge Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 205 about 500 feet south of the Oregon/Washington border, according to Oregon Department of Transportation spokesman Don Hamilton.
The semi crashed into the barrier, hit a light pole and landed partially in the bike lane, Hamilton said. The truck was not carrying any cargo, but it began leaking diesel fuel after the crash.
Two northbound, two southbound lanes and the bike lanes were closed.
It’s unclear what caused the crash or if anyone was hurt. ODOT said all lanes were reopened just after 3 p.m.
