Sheriff: Suspicious relatives find child porn on man's computer
Robert Willis

ALBANY, Ore. - Robert Littleton Willis asked family in Mill City to hide his computer in June, Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley said.

The 35-year-old Salem man was under investigation by the Child Welfare Division of the Department of Health and Human Services in Marion County.

Why would he want to hide his computer? his relatives wondered.

They looked through the contents of the computer and located child pornography.

Then they called the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff obtained a search warrant to search the digital contents of the hard drives on the computer.

The digital evidence examination located 123 digital photographs and videos depicting girls as young as 5 years old involved in sexually explicit conduct.

Some of the images showed prepubescent female children being raped by adult men, the sheriff said.

Deputies arrested Willis and booked him into the Linn County Jail on a charge of encouraging child sex abuse. He is being held on $1,230,000 bail.
