Sheriff's Office: Missing Oregon City teen found safe, abductor in custody

The 13-year-old Oregon City girl who has been missing for five days was found safe late Saturday afternoon, according to the Clackamas County Sheriffs Office.

Samantha Dodson was found in a wooded area north of Oregon City.

The Sheriff’s Office had received a tip earlier in the afternoon.

Deputies and the office’s SWAT team converged on the area around South Maple Lane Road and South Country Village Drive.

Dodson was originally considered a runaway but on Friday evening, an arrest warrant was issued for 40-year-old Kelsey McCune, a friend of Dodson’s father.

He was found with her and taken in to custody.
