Spilled load of fish guts blocks Hwy. 101 near Ilwaco
ILWACO, Wash. - Highway 101 in Washington was partially blocked near Ilwaco on Friday after a semi trailer tipped over onto its side and spilled a huge load of fish guts and fish heads all over the roadway.
State troopers responded to the scene, at the south end of Willapa Bay, at about 11 a.m. after receiving a report of a semi truck crash.
Arriving at the crash site, they found a semi trailer on its side and thousands of pounds of fish guts spilled over the highway and along the roadside.
A tow truck was called in to remove the semi. But more than two hours later, the north lane of the highway was still blocked by the slippery, stinking mess.
A small notice on the state Department of Transportation's Facebook page said, "At least it's raining."
We suspect a plot carried out by a flock of Seagulls. State Department is blaming it on "Backlash from a National Geographic documentary" it will be months before we know if the POTUS was aware of a conspiracy. Of course we will learn that it was really George Bush that cooked the whole thing up.

It will be interesting to see how well everything in the area grows. Years from now they will cut down the trees and anyone who looks at the tree rings will see a huge growth spurt.
