PORTLAND, Ore. - Some Lewis & Clark students received an early wake-up call when a bursting pipe forced them out of their dorm on Wednesday night.
Portland firefighters were called out to Edna Holmes Hall and saw water coming through the windows just before midnight. The sprinkler system's pipe burst in the attic, sending water to five floors of the dorm.
Firefighters said the water got into 22 rooms.
They evacuated the building and brought in teams to get the water out in about an hour and a half.
No one was hurt.
