PORTLAND, Ore. - In our new economy, filling the space we call home has been a lot harder for some families and it's hitting those who are trying to help them as well.
At Community Warehouse, which helps families in need get the comforts and necessities of home they cannot afford to buy on their own, they're running short on donations.
Their program works like this - Community Warehouse takes in donations and social service agencies bring in people in need of housewares or furniture.
Families pay a flat fee of $50 to get what they need and if they can't afford it, other agencies pull together to find a way to make it work.
If you'd like to help out or know a family in need who could benefit from what they do, visit the Community Warehouse website.
