Suspect identified in fatal hit-and-run
PORTLAND, Ore. – Police identified the man they said was driving a van Thursday morning when he struck and killed a man before fleeing the scene.
Victorio Nogueda-Berrera, 57, is wanted for felony hit-and-run, Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau said.
Nogueda-Berrera is 5’11” tall and weighs 200 pounds. Police found the Ford Econoline van they said he was driving at the time of the crash.
Police said Berrera struck and killed Tommy Zane Gann on Thursday morning as Gann crossed the street at SE 17th Avenue and Holgate. After the crash, police said Berrera fled the scene.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Nogueda-Berrera’s arrest. Tips can be made online or you can call (503) 823-4357.

It makes no difference the race of these murders, they all need to be executed. Hit and run is rampant and people think they can get away with it. People hanging from lamp poles would discourage that.

According to the United States Census Bureau, there are 52,035,165 Hispanic and Latino American citizens.  While it's possible that Mr. Nogueda-Berrera is not one of them, it's far, far, far more likely that he is.  I know, I know, numbers aren't nearly as fun as trying to make yourselves feel big by painting every Mexican or South American with the same racist brush, but y'all should just stop.  Your Klan roots are showing.

@Diogenes The irony to the situation is that, had the perp stopped and rendered assistance (as is required under law), then even *if* he were illegal (but otherwise operating the vehicle lawfully), then probably the ramifications would be much less -- maybe even 'manageable'.  However, due to his decision to run, he is now added to the list of individuals having felony warrants, thus, ensuring when the law does catch up to him, not only will he get a nice little felony conviction and a little jail time, he'd be deported as well.

The trial will cost about $100,000. He will get about 6 years which will cost about $250,000. The medical costs to try and save his victims life will be in the range of $200,000. How many teachers would that hire?
In Mexico it is common to hit and run. Most get away with it so it is carried over to the US with the same attitude and expectation.
Being that most Hispanics come from Mexico it is a no brainer that he is more than likely headed there to avoid prosecution. There is also a better than 65% chance he is illegal.
