Suspect in Lloyd Center stabbing arrested in Vancouver
Police responded to the stabbing at the Lloyd Center mall on Feb. 12.

PORTLAND, Ore. – The suspect in a stabbing at the Lloyd Center mall last week was arrested in Vancouver, Wash. on Tuesday, Portland police said.

Portland Gang Enforcement Team detectives identified Louis Williams, 19, as the suspect in the Feb. 12 stabbing using mall surveillance video. Vancouver police and Clark County sheriff’s deputies arrested Williams Tuesday night.

Williams faces attempted murder, assault and unlawful use of a weapon charges. Police took Williams to the Clark County Jail. He will eventually be taken to the Multnomah County Jail, police said.

The 16-year-old stabbing victim survived his injuries.
