A Keizer man has been indicted on multiple charges relating to the robbery of an armored truck courier.

Anthony Samuel White, 28, is accused of robbing the courier at a former Roth's grocery store at 5013 River N., which is at the Schoolhouse Square, on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

According to Keizer police Captain Jeff Kuhns, the courier was dropping off money and servicing an ATM when he was confronted by an armed man.

The employee made his way into a room, barricaded himself into the room, locked it and "sheltered in place," Kuhns said.

The employee then called his co-worker for help and said he had been robbed by an armed suspect. The SWAT team showed up, established communication with the Brink's employee, and got him out of the building.

Four days later, police say White confronted a different armored truck courier in Eugene. During that incident, White was shot by the courier. He was treated at a hospital in Springfield before being incarcerated in the Lane County Jail and then transferred to the Marion County Correctional Facility on April 7.

A Marion County grand jury indicted White on 14 criminal charges, 13 felonies and one misdemeanor for the alleged robbery in Keizer.

The Keizer Police Department would still like to hear from anyone with information about White that could help them with this investigation.
