Teen arrested for police chase and car theft

ALOHA, Ore. -- A suspected car thief led police on a wild chase through Aloha on Saturday morning, and police say the driver behind the wheel was just 15-years old.

Washington County Deputies say the teen rammed two patrol cars. The chase started when police got a report of a reckless driver at Heritage Village Mobile Park. The teen was driving a stolen Dodge Durango.

He eventually lost control of the SUV at the the intersection of Southwest Imlay and Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway. The SUV hit the shoulder and rolled.

The teen driver had some minor injuries but is now in a juvenile detention center. He's been charged with Unlawful Use of Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, Attempt to Elude Felony, Identity Theft, Theft I, and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
