VANCOUVER, Wash. – Two people were killed and another was wounded in a shooting at a Vancouver home early Monday morning, police said.

The three were found at a home near Northeast 52nd Street at 131st Avenue. Police called it a domestic violence situation.

Police said they found 49-year-old Danny Lee Luster and his wife, Sandra, also 49, dead inside the home.

The couple's 23-year-old son was shot in the abdomen, police said. He is in stable condition at a hospital. His name has not been released.

Police said they also found the family dog dead.

Neighbors said they heard fighting in the house, followed by gunshots at around 5:15 a.m. Several neighbors called 911.

Police said they are not looking for a suspect and there is no threat to the community.

Detectives and medical examiners had to wait for a search warrant to get into the house. They were in and out of it throughout the afternoon.

Some neighbors said the sounds of family members fighting at the home were not new.

A neighbor named James told KATU the father who lives at the home lost his job in the last few weeks. James said he was worried that something bad might happen.
