Tillamook mini buses recovered after being stolen during road trip

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – California police have found a three cheese sampling tour VW buses that were stolen over the weekend.

The Tillamook County Creamery Association says the Loaf Love Tour team was traveling through the Sacramento area over the weekend to promote Tillamook cheese when their vehicles were stolen from a hotel parking lot on Saturday night.

Police recovered the truck and trailer, but they were severely burned. The three mini VW buses were found in a self-storage unit in Copperopolis, Calif., according to the Copper Gazette.

Tillamook is offering a $10,000 reward for the safe recovery of the missing mini buses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Manteca Police Detective Moody at 209-456-8101.
