TriMet to add service on busiest bus lines next week
The Powell/Broadway line will see an increase in service starting March 3, TriMet says.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Good news for TriMet bus riders.

Starting March 3, TriMet is adding more service to ten of its busiest bus lines in an effort to make them less crowded. That means those bus lines will serve stops every 15 minutes or sooner on weekdays, according to a news release on TriMet’s website.

The bus routes are part of TriMet’s Frequent Service Network connecting the regional hubs were many riders live and work.

The following ten bus lines will see more frequent service:

  • 6-Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd
  • 8-Jackson Park/NE 15th
  • 9-Powell/Broadway
  • 12-Barbur/Sandy Blvd
  • 14-Hawthorne
  • 15-Belmont/NW 23rd
  • 33-McLoughlin
  • 54-Beaverton/Hillsdale Hwy/56-Scholls Ferry Rd
  • 57-TV Hwy/Forest Grove
  • 75-Cesar Chavez/Lombard
