Three arrested in Vancouver murder

VANCOUVER, Wash.  — Police arrested three men on murder charges in the death of a Vancouver man.

Police on Wednesday arrested suspect Zacheriah A. Douglas in the murder of Craig Moritz, 21.

Two additional suspects appeared in Clark County Superior Court Wednesday and were ordered held for investigation of murder.

Deputy Prosecutor Kasey Vu said the shooting was the result of a drug deal gone bad. Bail was set at $500,000 for 21-year-old Jonathan Hensley and $750,000 for 19-year-old Shawn Fortner. They are scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 19

Moritz's body was found about 3 a.m. Tuesday along Vancouver Mall Drive.

KATU's news partner The Columbian reports the scene was five blocks east of where two women were killed Jan. 19 by a hit-and-run driver.
