Police on the scene of a shooting that left two people wounded Friday night.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Two people were shot in North Portland on Friday night, according to police.

Police said more than 12 shots were fired just after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of North Peninsular Avenue and Willis Boulevard.

A girl who is under 18 was shot, along with a 19-year-old man. Medics took both victims to hospitals. Their conditions are unknown.

The victims were found about 70 feet apart.

Witnesses told police that two groups of people were seen fleeing the scene. The Portland Police Gang Enforcement Team is investigating the shooting.

No arrests have been made and police said there is no suspect information at this time.

Police closed North Peninsular Boulevard from North Winchell to North Willis for three hours during their investigation.
