University of Portland coach arrested on domestic violence complaint

PORTLAND, Ore. - An assistant men's basketball coach from the University of Portland was arrested this weekend.

Eric Jackson was picked up Sunday morning on a domestic violence complaint after he allegedly got into an argument with a woman and hit her.

Jackson has been a Pilots coach since 2006. The school said he's been instrumental in player recruiting and development.
