Video: Man randomly fires pistol from moving car in Vancouver
VANCOUVER, Wash. - A disturbing video posted on YouTube shows a man driving around Vancouver firing a pistol randomly in a residential neighborhood.
KATU's news partners at The Columbian first reported that Vancouver police say the man in the video is 23-year-old Ronnie Michael Wynn.
He's in Clark County Jail facing several charges, unrelated to the video.
Much of the video is shot just north of Vancouver's Evergreen High School. The stupidity and recklessness shown in the video is infuriating to watch.
Vancouver police say the video discovered on Ronnie Michael Wynn's Facebook page shows Wynn earlier this summer.
The video begins on Northeast 138th Street, heading south from 39th Avenue. Then 22 seconds in Wynn points the gun out the window and fires a shot, startling the female passenger holding the camera. Moments later, he boasts about it.
He continues driving south toward the intersection of Northeast 28th street. As he does he pulls out what appears to be an assault rifle. But instead of firing, he puts it down and grabs the camera for the only close up of his face.
A short time later the camera is back with the passenger, and Wynn's looking for another opportunity to fire.
For a moment it appears he'll shoot toward homes on Northeast 28th Street near Emmanuel Baptist Church.
But instead he turns into a neighborhood and says, "I should have popped that (expletive deleted)."
Seconds later the passenger gives her approval: "Oh baby, I just love you," she's heard saying.
As the video ends it's clear Wynn's not done.
"I'm going to let you out at the corner here," he says. "I'm going to the next corner down, OK."
Vancouver police arrested Wynn in July after he crashed a vehicle reported stolen.
The weapons in the video may be the pistol and assault rifle that Wynn is accused of stealing from his uncle.

I'm at a bit of a loss to decide which action is more indicitive of Mr Wynn's intellect. His actions with the firearm, or the fact that he videotaped it and posted it on You Tube?

Realistically, his actions are pretty indicitive of the society in which he's been raised. Think only of what you 'want' to do. Make no consideration of how your actions affect anyone outside of your immediate circumstance. While he may very well be demonstrating his own lack of coherent thought process, how many people on a daily basis make no consideration outside of themselves? From choices made to put material possessions ahead of family, to judgemental disparity about people we don't know, to driving home after having a bottle of wine with a couple friends. The blatant use of a weapon to display Mr Wynn's complete lack of concern for anyone other than himself, and his 'pleasure' makes his selfish and inconsiderate nature obvious. Most people hide behind social stigmas.

Honestly, I'm more concerned for the young lady heard admiring him than Mr Wynn. He is who his parents, and his peers, have made him. The idea that there is a breeding partner who 'loves' him enough to procreate (well, realistically, procreation likely wouldn't be on either of their minds given their predisposition towards persuing what they 'want' with no consideration of the consequences of those actions) with him.... that's just frightening.
It is amazing that this pos has the brain power to even draw a breath. Weak punk. Take away the gun and a 12 year old girl could probably kick his arse.

Makes you wonder what his mother's pregnancy was like; is he a fetal alcohol syndrome victim? That would be my hope because to think that people can be this stupid and depraved without any reason behind it is just too awful to consider. The same applies to the moron in the passenger seat. I hope both of them experience something at the hands of someone else that makes them see the light if that is even possible.

As I type this his mother is on the news telling the camera that Ronnie is a good kid and not to judge; too late. Little Ronnie has given everyone too much reason to want him put away for a long, long time.
Why has the passenger not been charged? She was really getting into this and appears to be just as dangerous..   If he had murdered someone she also would be charged with murder.Â
Too bad some other driver did not take their heads off with a Dessert Eagle.

Just because this guy is a dumb criminal does not mean he had poor parents. He is 23 to begin with, a grown up. And many factors influence young people. Some times Kids get bum ideas that parents can not change before or after growing up. Since we do not know his family we should NOT blame them.
Easy to get away with shooting a gun in Vancouver. Can't tell the difference between gunshots and fireworks. Another reason to get rid of fireworks.
