WSP trooper resigns after having sex with DUI driver
YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - A Yakima Washington state trooper investigated for having sex with a woman after a drunken driving arrest has resigned.
Trooper Travis Lamb told KIMA he resigned from his dream job over the way the investigation was handled.
Patrol spokesman Bob Calkins told the station investigators believe Lamb violated misconduct rules.
Both sides say the sex last March was consensual. Lamb went to the woman's house after she was released from jail. He was in uniform but off duty. Prosecutors did not charge him.

So he promised that he would not show-up as a witness for her court trial in exchange for sex. Of course, he didn't like the way the investigation was handled; he was guilty.

He got confused and took the fur-covered cuffs with him to work and his supervisor caught him.Â
Then he had a really difficult time trying to explain that long, black, rubbery thing in his holster.
Drunk driving certainly speaks volumes to character of a potential mate. I thought it was funny, the article did not say he was the arresting officer. It just said she had been arrested and he visited her after her release...
