Wash. mom let toddler inhale pot smoke from bong, police say
CENTRALIA, Wash. (AP) — Centralia police say they have arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of letting her 22-month-old boy inhale marijuana smoke from a bong.
The Tacoma News Tribune reports police served a warrant on the woman's home Friday, arresting her and the 25-year-old father of the boy. Police say they found 40 marijuana plants inside the residence as well as firearms.
Police were told the woman was allegedly letting the boy inhale marijuana smoke from a bong.
The man is being accused of three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and manufacturing marijuana. The woman is being accused of unlawfully delivering a controlled substance to a minor and manufacturing marijuana.
The boy and another child are now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
Wow, I would say I can't believe I just saw that, but I can. People have jokingly let their children try beer before, it's even on sitcoms. Yes this is different, but not by much. People let their children try beer so that they know the kid won't like it, and it will stop them from asking for awhile. I'm sure this mother had the same intention. Still it will be rather difficult for anyone to get out of these <a href="http://www.woramlaw.com/practice-areas/drug-offense-attorney/">drug offenses</a>.
See this is why I don't have kids. I repeat DO NOT. Not only would I have molly whopped my wife, I would be in jail right with her! How many kids get in trouble for smoking and are over 18???? Lady is nutz!Â

It's the same as the gun issue.  Responsible gun owners will have locks and get training.  Idiot self important rambo jerks will end up shooting themselves or have their family shoot them.  Same with pot - use it after a long day of work to relax, or for your  ailments.  Use weed while you work, give it to kids, or while driving, you get put away for a long time.
It's about choice and responsibility. Â The freedom is ours until we proof we can't handle it, then it should be taken away.

I never could understand why people think sucking toxic smoke into their lungs intentionally is a good idea. Cigarette smoke is always bad for your lungs, MJ smoke is no different.

@Shadow Nope. My dad was a"pothead" and told me, bluntly, that he didn't care what I did when I was an adult but if he ever caught me smoking pot before I was 21 and out of college he would kick my ass.
I owe him that. Of course, nobody said a damned thing about my buddies and I drinking in the garage on Friday nights, as long as we didn't drive and the girls were over there was none of that "neckin'" going on.  Everclear and watermelon..
