Water main breaks in North Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. - A water main broke in North Portland Tuesday morning, disrupting water service to about 15 homes in a two-block radius.
The break happened on North Wayland Avenue between Willis Boulevard and Hunt Street.
A Portland Water Bureau crew is working to repair the break. They expect to have it fixed by the end of the day.
Some roads in the area are closed and drivers are being detoured.
Wish they could have been that quick here at NE 47th and Couch! Â It's been *weeks* and still the street is closed to through traffic.
