After the Reynolds High School shooting we heard from a lot of you concerned about the news paying too much attention to the teen who pulled the trigger and killed freshman Emilio Hoffman and injured PE teacher Todd Rispler.
Long before police identified Jared Padgett as the gunman people on social media implored us to not even say his name. Some said reporting on him would only serve to glorify what he did and perhaps encourage someone else.
