White supremacist gang linked to Pendleton assaults
PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — A white supremacist gang has been linked to several assaults in Pendleton, but the town's police chief has cautioned locals against any worries that supposed members of the European Kindred were inciting a wave of violence.
"Pendleton doesn't have a full-fledged European Kindred population," Stuart Roberts said.
There may be six or seven men, mostly "couch surfers," living from place to place and stealing items to buy drugs, Roberts said.
"It's not like they have a clubhouse or anything like that," he said.
Gangs have been in Pendleton for years, and police deal with many people "more or less enamored with the ideology" of white supremacy or other gangs, the chief said. But Pendleton usually doesn't have the same vandalism or more serious gang-related crimes that have happened in Hermiston and the Walla Walla Valley.
European Kindred — often called EK — was formed by two inmates in 1988 in the Snake River Correctional Institution. The gang has grown beyond prison walls, with about 300-350 members in Oregon prisons and a hundred or more living in Portland, the East Oregonian reported.
European Kindred has earned a reputation for violence and having a hand in dealing methamphetamine.
Roberts said his department doesn't know if the locals are bona fide members of the gang, but they have shown the desire to be.
One member, Joshua Teel, who turned 23 on Sunday, was involved with a group that harassed and fought with a black man Aug. 9 at Stillman Park, according to court records. Teel pleaded not guilty to charges of intimidation, riot and more.
Roberts said the attack that night fits the criteria for a hate crime. The case is pending.
Teel also was with Michael David Douglas Mason, 24, when he brandished a sawed-off shotgun last Friday night at a local residence, Roberts said. Teel got away, but police have a warrant for his arrest. Officers caught Mason and booked him into the Umatilla County Jail on unlawful weapons charges and more.
Who cares... Racist blacks commit violence against whites everyday yet it isnt reported... the propoganda outlets dont say "Racist black panther gang linked to assault on white old lady" No they say " a group of youths were troublemaking" They dont say " A racist laraza gang violently beat a white man" They dont report on that ... But they LOVE to say "white supremist" or "racist whites" whenever they can. This country IS devided on racial lines... get used to it. http://blackracismandracehatred.blogspot.com/ http://www.newnation.org/
the skinhead types dont stop at color of skin when they want to do whatever they can get away with. It is called mob rules yet isnt a whit different then the islamic Sharia law vis caliphate system, not one bit different.
This is a joke...but if you've been to Pendleton, then you already know why.
If there is "problem" with a White Supremacist "gang" out there in Hee-Haw County, it's probably that they're refusing (again) to turn in that VHS copy of 'Roots' that plays backwards--you know, so that the Klukkers can consider it a happy ending. The mini-mart/laundramat/video store can't afford to keep special ordering
Aside from Weiser, next to the Idaho border, I have yet to find a more racist, bigoted, or bubba-fied town in Oregon than that which is Pendleton. (In Weiser, there was a sign at the city limits for decades that read, "If your skin is black, don't let the sun set on your back".)

The two idiots who started this EK bunk are Pendleton hometown heroes. I know/knew one of them, and back when they're talking about, it was called the European Knighthood. Of course Sheriff Rosco and Boss J.D. Hogg don't want to go into too much detail there. And, it's just plain laughable that these goons aren't considered a "gang" because they don't have a clubhouse. Bikers have clubhouses. Little boys have clubhouses. Klukkers have what's known as a Klavern--YOU think about the word, and figure out what goes on there. I have a feeling that the black guy who these pillow case 'hoodlums', (lol) supposedly "harassed" and "fought with" ended up kicking the hell out of them...but that information is probably "classified", or some BS, since it'd make this Chief's home-team look bad.

So, the next time you have the misfortune to run out of gas in close proximity to Pendleton, remember, the goober pumping your gas could be one of themthar EK "gang members". Sooner or later those gimps wind up in the State Pen there in town, wearing one type of uniform or another there.
"Joshua Teel, who turned 23 on Sunday, was involved with a group that harassed and fought with a black man Aug. 9 at Stillman Park". Of course, it was hate crime, the four black girls that beat the crap out of a white girl were not. We all know it, right?
@tptpttp The girls in the Trimet incident were had an argument involving a boy: http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2012/01/trimet_beating_of_14-year-old.html

A hate crime requires more than people of different races being involved. And contrary to what you might believe, hate crimes against whites do get reported and prosecuted:Â http://www.esquire.com/features/hate-crime-0608

So, we don't all know it because you are wrong.
Thanks for the information.
I say F**k!
Doesnt sound like a gang.....
If the chief won't do his job, then fire him.
The police cheif seems to want to keep problems low key. If there are gang members in his city, he needs to make the effort to control them. When the police try to downplay what is happening in their city or small town...it is time to look out. The police need to be open and honest about the problems. Not try to hide them. If they brandished a sawed off shotgun (illegal) at some residences, they might have carried their last weapon.

"Don't you know, boy, the danger of blood relations?...That's how we lost the Civil War. You think you want a whole slew of kids running around whose eyeballs are touching because you can't keep your hands off your sister?" -Fritz Tremor.
@Playanekes    You cleaned it up purdy nicely now !
Seems like ANY of the crimes usually associated with these "white supremacy" groups is MORE than enough...
down play much?
