Woman, 18, arrested on DUII charge after police chase
PORTLAND, Ore. – Police arrested an 18-year-old woman who they said sped away from officers, ran several red lights and crashed into two vehicles in Downtown Portland Friday night.
Someone flagged down officers to report a suspected drunk driver near Northwest 3rd Avenue and Couch Street just before 10 p.m. Officers said they found the driver, who sped away from the area and ran several red lights on 5th avenue.
Police found the car crashed into two vehicles at 5th and Salmon Street.
The driver, 18-year-old Anna Borisovna Lopatina, was arrested and taken to the Multnomah County Jail. She faces charges of DUII and attempting to elude.
A passenger in the car was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Lettuce analyze this here deed. Clearly the prohibition of driving drunk was rejected by this POTENTIAL KILLER. Now I realize the LAW that states you can not drink and drive is relative new, when compared to the age of the planet but still that should not be an excuse for an underage person to drive then elude and finally  crash into several cars.
Let us say the cars were children and the driver had a .223 rifle instead, would the prohibition of having that gun made a difference??????????  NOPE, no siryee no difference at all. Lets hope that so many things become illegal that we will all be safe and live happily ever after, so help me..............FIN

 @donna marie ~ Actually, there are a lot of "good" ones here from other places... but they're usually much too busy educating themselves, learning our language, getting jobs, paying taxes, and so on to get into trouble, so we very rarely hear or read about them.  Sometimes, if we're lucky, the media will cover one of the ceremonies when some of them are being sworn in as new American citizens...  :-)
